It’s easy to set-up the Phantom Blaster by following the step-by-step guide supplied with the unit

What’s more, Phantom Blaster is compatible with all current Sky Digiboxes and almost all VCR Infra Red remote controllers

The unit itself consists of a receiver and a high quality adaptor that fits into the SCART socket already on your Digibox

The receiver is held securely in place with a magnetic base and requires no external power

In fact, the unit is so discreet that the only time you’ll notice it’s there is when you start enjoying the benefits of PVR functionality from your existing equipment

Because the Phantom Blaster mimics the commands of your existing VCR remote control you can record a programme using only your Sky Digibox remote

Just use the Personal Planner on your Sky menu to select the programmes you wish to record

When any Auto view programmes on your Personal Planner start your VCR will automatically begin to record onto tape

After the programme has finished, recording stops ready for the next Auto view programme to begin

You can of course, continue to manually record programmes as before with your VCR
